Front: Donruss 91 Highlights Bo Jackson 4 CONSECUTIVE HRs Back: BC-10 Highlights TM BO JACKSON OUTFIELD Bo Jackson of the Kansas City Royals joined some select company in 1990 when he hit four home runs in four consecutive plate appearances. The difference between Bo and the rest was his fourth came almost six weeks after the first three. Jackson had hit three straight home runs against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium July 17 before leaving the game when he injured his shoulder diving for a fly ball. Jackson went on the disabled list and did not come to bat again until Aug. 26 in Kansas City. In his first plate appearance, Jackson smoked the first pitch for a 450-foot home run off Randy Johnson of the Seattle Mariners. "That particular pitch, I saw it so well I actually saw the threads on the ball before I hit," Jackson said after the game. © 1990 LEAF, INC. PRINTED IN U.S.A.
